Dear Selected Members,
Band Student Leadership Workship
I would like to inform you that you have been selected
to go for a band student leadership workshop.
The selected members are:
Lixian, Vernice, Enzhao
Kelvin, Mandy, Lynette
Farhan, Habib, Yun feng
Alicia, Michelle
The details are as follows:
Day/Date: Saturday (30Aug)
Time: 2p.m. - 5:30p.m.
Venue: Anglo-Chinese Junior College
25 Dover Close East Singapore 139745
Dress Code: P.E. T-Shirt w/ Long pants OR w/ Skirt
Fees for the workshop have been subsidised by 60%.
Pupils are supposed to pay $12 to the teachers I/C
during the september holiday practices.
If you are not heading to the venue yourself,
you can meet at school at 1p.m. - 1:15p.m.
transport will then be provided.
Pupils are reminded to be at their best behavior, as they are representing the school's band for the workshop. To avoid humiliation infront of other school's band, pupils are reminded not to make a fool out of themselves, and be enthusiastic about this workshop. Restless and "heckcare" attitudes should not be presented, much less tolerated.
Do take note of the above points.
On a lighter note, pupils who wants to have lunch before 1p.m, can inform either kelvin/mandy asap. [: Take care and see you all tomorrow!

Venue: School canteen
Please try to reach at least 15mins earlier to set up your instruments. And please, please, please, do not be late.

Hello band members.
I have added the tagboard once again. Please promise that you guys will not utilise it the wrong way. But if the same thing happens again, it'll lead to the extinction of this tagboard forever. And also, always always tag with your name. We're one big family, no need shy. :B
Anyway, thanks for all those who came to help clear the band store this afternoon. I know the dust is really unbearable, so really thank you all very much. :)

Reminder:
All committee members, logistics team and percussion section
Please remember to bring Cloths, Rags or any fabric that cleans dirt.
We are going to clear the band store at Lvl 3 tomorrow.

If you're in main band,
please rmb to turn up for tomorrow's band practice!
Date: 15th August 2008
Time: 1:00 Band store open
(15mins to set up)
1:30p.m. must be settled in T 01.
Venue: Canteen, T 01 classroom
Behavior: Quiet at all times
Please be reminded that Mrs Balan may pop in any min,
and check on the current situation of the band.
I guess that none of you would want us to be "labelled".
I hope that you all can show how good a band we are, ok?! (:
I also hope to see you all putting in more efforts to practise the scores,
I know that it might be quite difficult for some of you,
but don't retreat because of obstacles,
instead overcome those obstacles to be prepared for more!
Anyway, more feelings should be pumped into your playing.
I think thats all I have to say, so yeah ;D
Take care and drink more water ;D

There would be certain issues to disucss,
and certain problems to solve as a committee.
Hopefully, by the day we have our meeting,
there wouldn't be anyone trying to skip the meeting,
or disregarding the importance of it.
Remember, if we want the band to do well,
we ourselves must do well first.
Hopefully you all still have the "fire" within! ;D

Hello members.
National Day Parade is finally over; a great relief I guess. Thanks for everyone's effort during the past rehearsals. Weekends are here already. Do your homework please, and study for your tests. Rest well, drink more water! :] Eat more vegetables!

Greetings fellow band mates,
I am aware that it has been a long time since this blog has been updated. This blog will be of an infomation hub for all of you. Regardless of any events coming up, any announcements the band has for you all, or any clarifications you would like to seek immediately, you can come straight to the band blog to find out.
To invoke your passion for band, let me ask you the following questions:
As a member of Questband, do you automatically have the innate feelings to bring the band to a greater height? Do you aspire to be the best player in your section? Or do you even have this simple hope that your section will be as good as you? Do you look forward to SYF '09? Do you have total confidence in your leaders in their capabilities to lead you to SYF '09?
If any questions are left unanswered in your mind, use this limited amount of time to find answers for the forementioned unsolved questions above. For the first time, I would like to remind you to make decisions before its too late, decisions before you regret that could lead to life-changing events... It's time to take a stand, a change that we can believe in.
On a lighter note, please be reminded that there'll be a NDP full-dress rehersal on Monday:
