the actual SYF day is only 5 days away from now and there are only 2 practices left. scary how fast time passes, right? jus about 4 months ago, we stood at nothing. look where we are now, not being cocky, but we've come a long way. from a very lousy and unbonded band to one that has improved greatly and has become much more bonded than before.
whatever the results are on monday, whether it dampens our spirits or bring us INTO THE LIGHT(pun intended), we must most importantly remember the process and experiences as samuel has said. the medal will rust and corrode, and eventually, it will become tarnished. however, this rich experience that brought us to where we were, remains etched in all our hearts. memories are like sieves, thoughts and memories are forgotten as time passes. but this SYF experience, will not, as it is not only a memory, but something that will impose values and morales in us for life.
remember the seniors, juniors.
remember the juniors, seniors.
remember the conductors, band.
remember the band, conductors.
remember the band, remember questband.
remember SYF 2007 regardless of the medal.
