the first post of questband. erm erm. 3/3/06 saturday. i didn't get the date wrong, did i. haha. band practice. intensive and fun. yes band is always fun. we had sectionals and combined. samuel says we've surpassed bronze. we must continue to work harder. and make the teachers who pinned their hopes on us be proud. most of all, we must be proud of ourselves and have the confidence to accomplish our goals.

what are we aiming for? a gold. or one with honours? i'm sure everyone has a goal, whether you like to say it out or not, whether it is a high one or not. in your own personal lives, all of us has goals we want badly to achieve too. these goals, in order to achieve them, we work ourselves out mentally and physically. for questband, it is our goal, everyone of us, to fight for what we want to achieve, just like how we fight for our own personal goals. this syf includes everyone. everyone is important. to achieve a good medal, we must treat this syf as a personal goal we want to achieve badly. with this spirit in mind, everyone will think alike. with this unity and similar mindset, it is easier to get what we yearn for.

for those who aren't very committed to band, please spare a thought for those who are always regular. in the past, i wasn't regular too. heh. people come and attend these practices. you might think you are very busy and have no time for band, but what about those who attend? they might have had conflicts with their families and all sorts of difficulties you might not imagine, but they make the effort to come. behind that familiar face, the one you see everyday, you think "what can be wrong for him or her?" you never know. this person might have a sickly parent or finiancial difficulties he or she never mentioned to anyone else. please don't take one another for granted. when he or she is gone, whether or not if you guys were ever close, you will feel the pinch. help one another whenever possible, you don't want another member to be eliminated. it's cruel. i'm sure, if everyone makes an effort to come and motivate one another, this practices will not be a chore, but an enjoyable affair which many will come to miss once syf is over. treasure these moments when they are here, miss them when they are gone, but don't regret about what you have or haven't done. this memories will last us a lifetime.

to those who aren't in syf, please don't feel inferior. you aren't forgotten. you guys have played an important part. though some of us aren't close to you guys, it seems weird, but we still feel a sense of nostalgia when we don't see your face or bags. the place where you always put your bags, where you always kept your instruments, it will be remembered by us. we feel sad. of course we want everyone to be in this together. physically, we won't be all together on that day, but mentally, we're bonded together. come back for practices alright, encouraged by QUESTBAND =)
